How we can help....

We give legal advice & representation to people with low incomes in the following situations:

  • If you need information about WSIB benefits;
  • If the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has denied your claim for benefits;
  • If the WSIB has cancelled or made a large reduction in your monthly benefits. In this situation, contact your WSIB case manager first, before contacting our clinic. He or she can explain what happened and possibly resolve a problem.

Our Range of Services

For each person who contacts us, we decide on the extent of assistance we can offer. We will usually try to help you by doing one or more of the following things:

  • Providing legal advice by telephone or in person;
  • Meeting you to review documents;
  • Preparing documents to assist you;
  • Representing you in an appeal to the WSIB Appeals Branch or a further appeal to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal;
  • Referring you to other resources if we are not able to assist you.
